We have been serving Homestyle Comfort food with a fresh healthy twist since 11/11/11; Veteran’s Day when Vet’s dine free!  The Savory Spoon is a Non-Profit restaurant, which means every time you eat here you are helping support our Monday Community Day, when anyone can get a fresh healthy meal and simply Pay What They Can afford!

Our motto is Real Food, Real People, Real Community; we use Local & Organic ingredients and change our menu seasonally to take advantage of the best produce. We also support our local merchants! We use Prather Ranch for our hamburgers & ground beef; we think you’ll taste the difference. Our hamburger buns and multi grain table bread come from The Oven Bakery in Mt. Shasta; they use Moore’s Flour Mill for their flour. Many of our special steaks and fish come from R & R Quality Meats and we use Smart Chickens, which means they are 100% Natural raised without any animal by-products, antibiotics or hormones. Much of our produce and eggs come from Churn Creek Meadows Organic Farm, We also feature local products from Granzella’s, Bonnie’s In A Jam, Moore’s Flour Mill, Coffee Creek, Matson Vineyard, Alpen Cellars, New Claìrvaux & many other local vendors!
