We have been serving Homestyle Comfort food with a fresh healthy twist since 11/11/11; Veteran’s Day when Vet’s dine free! At The Savory Spoon our motto is Real Food, Real People, Real Community; we use Local & Organic ingredients and change our menu seasonally to take advantage of the best produce in our area.
Eating local means supporting local merchants and keeping your dollar local!
We are in a Co-Op kitchen with Furnari Sausage Company & Shasta Kombucha! Furnari sausage is offered on our Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch & Dinner Menus. AND Shasta Kombucha is on tap and served daily!
We use local grass fed Prather Ranch ground beef in all of our hamburgers; we think you’ll taste the difference. Our hamburger buns are from The Oven Bakery in Mt. Shasta and they use Moore’s Flour Mill for their flour. Some of our special steaks and fish come from R & R Quality Meats. Much of our produce, like our golden beets, and eggs come from Churn Creek Meadows Organic Farm. The jam that comes with your toast at Breakfast & Brunch is made locally by Bonnie’s In A Jam. The coffee we serve is ORGANIC & locally roasted at Strawhouse Organic Coffee!
We exclusively pour wine from LOCAL vineyards like: Alpen Cellars, Matson, New Clairvaux, Burnsini
And we serve local craft beer like: Fall River Brewing, Wildcard, Eel River & MORE!
